The Charles River Baroque Orchestra is a project that brings musicians from across the city together to study baroque music on early instruments.

Formerly known as the Harvard Baroque Chamber Orchestra, the group now exists outside the university and presents projects in collaboration with the undergraduate orchestra.

We believe that playing baroque music is a uniquely joyous experience and that working with historical instruments is an amazing way to bring the past into full, vibrant, life.
